Coast to Coast does handle requests by employers for interventions required at the workplace. There is an increasing trend for employers to look after the interests of valuable employees whose work may be impacted by drug or alcohol abuse. Since individuals spend so much time at work it is natural for serious personal issues to become obvious in the workplace. More and more, companies and bosses recognize that it is far cheaper to take a proactive approach toward the well-being of their employees rather than watch work suffer and try to find a replacement. For co-workers and superiors it is advisable to go through the human relations department or check company policies before scheduling an intervention.
