Coaching

While many people have the desire to get sober and stay sober, at times the recovery process is more trying than they expected. For this reason there are sobriety coaches that can offer the type of support that is necessary in early sobriety. Some people have too many responsibilities to take excess time off to participate in a treatment program or others may be adamantly against seeking treatment. As an alternative, sobriety coaching lets people maintain their routine but helps them to incorporate recovery related activities and habits into their lives. Sobriety coaches can also accompany individuals who have completed a treatment program but are unsure if they will be able to continue their recovery in the "real world". Most sobriety coaches have first hand or personal experience with recovery and can direct newly sober people to local 12 step meetings and help them to network in a sober environment. Creating and maintaining a sober support system is vital to the assurance of continued and long-term sobriety.

Transport

Coast to Coast offers transport services in order to accommodate people with special needs. Substance abusers with disabilities or special needs often have the desire to recover but are afraid or unable to get to a treatment facility on their own. For that reason our specialists will go the extra distance and accompany individuals from their home or requested location to a treatment facility. People who are still relatively uncomfortable with the idea of treatment but know they need it will be comforted by an understanding escort and will be able to look forward to seeing the same person when their treatment is complete. Transport services include but are not limited to travel by train, bus, car, and plane.
